Fifth Third Bank’s Amazing Race: Destination Gaslamp

One of our most popular team programs is called “The Amazing Race”. Similar to the television show, teams are given clues and race around to different stations to complete mental and physical challenges. Road blocks and detours slow them down, but they have the opportunity to complete activities to shave off time. It is a fast-paced, fun-filled afternoon that we organize anywhere they’d like!

Fifth Third Bank raced around the Gaslamp District in Downtown San Diego last week as our staff awaited them at various locations; some on busy street corners or in secret spots next to Petco Park to give this group an experience they will hopefully never forget.

The obvious goal of this program is to have fun; but built into the fun is the opportunity to work together completing tasks outside of the office. Groups increase communication skills and team cohesiveness by overcoming challenges distinct from the usual office projects and they build camaraderie in the process. Competitive groups love this program because it fuels the need to succeed while encouraging individuals to work together.
